Email notification
Leak events are sent to the chosen addresses as email.
How it works
This is the notification route that needs nothing installed. A notification carries the severity, the event type, the affected party and a link back to the panel.
More than one address can be entered. Using a team address rather than a list of people keeps notifications from stopping when someone leaves.
Limits
The mailbox is not read.
The leak itself is not in the email; the detail is in the panel.
An email being sent does not mean it was read; for a team on call, the paging integrations are used.
