Leak events are opened as Linear issues.
How it works
The connection uses a personal API key, created with the minimum permissions: read, create issues, create comments. Nothing wider is needed.
A code specific to the event is appended to the issue title. The second time the same event is processed, the search runs on that code first; if an issue is found, a comment is written instead of a new issue.
Only leak alerts open issues. Scan summaries and scan failures do not.
Limits
Issues are opened only in the named team.
Issues are not deleted, states are not changed and nothing is assigned.
The leaked value itself is not written to the issue.
